Character Lineup

I know people are fairly sick of me drawing these ladies over and over again, but I wanted to give a proper lineup a shot. There was a seventh, but I Totally just... ommitted her. I didn't feel confident in her design.

I might add her later. I definitely spent a lot of time just pantying about with this instead of just finishing it.

Close enough. (Feb Fatale @ Bento Miso)

I was going to include a screenshot of the game -- but the texture atlas just borked.
LIke completely.
And we're not using SVN. So it's borked until we manually fix it.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

EDIT:

Here you go. The tiles broke. Actually most of it broke but it aint bad.

With Carly Beath (Sound) , Yuliya Boublikova (Animootin), Myself (Art shit), Pina Visconti (Design) and Alex Wong (Raging/Programming).

Wedding

Andrew asked me to make the iphone 5 sized. It's still not big enough but it's better than like 300x500.

Suzy And Tom

Photoshop CS5 - 7 hours
Yep, I finally did some concept art of both of them. Even though the game is pixel art.

Because reasons.

That's his thinkin' face.

Red Wolfe?

I couldn't turn off all that Jazz and then this happened.

Sorry.

All Dat Jazz

15 minutes PSCS5
Ok I'll stop.

It's Hyyyydromatic...

Why, it's GREASED LIGHTNING!

My Danny Zuko kind of blows, but I dig the modded Ford.

It's that time of the year, again

Where I do caricatures! Hoorah.

So I have to get back into the swing of things. In case you haven't guessed, I'm channeling Bobby Pontillas here. But I suppose I've put my own swing on it as well. I'm quite rusty, but hopefully this is a decent start.

I drew Yuliya earlier on paper, and that was okay. But I do prefer photoshop because apparently I'm submitting to the machine.

Someone asked if I was in high school yesterday/if I was fifteen years old.
I decided to oblige their guesstimate.

Of course I drew Andrew.
But I decided to make it not offensive for a change.

Roz always has this evil smirk when she's around me.
I imagine it's because she's planning on play-assaulting me again.

And Sanju, also with a somewhat evil smirk.
I have good friends.

These boots were made for walking

They're also a pixel wide. How Dainty.

This was just a test to learn graphics gale. I don't think at any point is Suzy going to take a nice stroll.
Also Graphics gale wanted me to set it on fire, apparently. Exporting this took way too much f'ing effort.

I also made this to make me feel better about how long it took to export:

Game Fake No-Jam

I thought, why not, let's publicize EVERYTHING.

Here's a fake I drew up quite quickly to see what the game might look like.

I'm thinking no, but considering the time I'm given, I'll go with it for now. Now to just think about how to tile this...

EDIT: Seeing a load of mistakes now. I'll fix it tomorrow.

Environment stuff - Yonge and Dundas Square

I just made some notes all over it, because I took a fucktonne of photos too. Trying to make it as true to Toronto as possible!

Yo guys, so I wanted to show you some concept art I just doodled up for this game that I'm working on with  Pina Visconti, a co-worker of mine. Not even 100% sure if it'll be for No-Jam (starting this weekend!) but hopefully something will come of it.

Tried to make Yonge street simpler and get the uniqueness of all the individual buildings across. I'll probably tighten up the linework soon.

015 Glinda (The A is silent, eventually)

I'm not gonna be doing a daily tomorrow, since I'm busy so I just did another one tonight.

I didn't like how the last one turned out so I basically just turned Charlotte Le Bouff into Glinda.

014 Unpopular Elphaba

Young Elphaba, pre-makeover. And before she figures out how to defy gravity, I suppose.
